Sundari Dance Company, a bellydance performing arts company founded in 2009 by Adriana Sundari, has journeyed through various transformations over the years. As a performer, instructor, artistic director, and choreographer, Adriana has nurtured and trained many talented dancers who have graced the ensemble. After a nine-year hiatus beginning in 2015, Sundari Dance Co. has emerged with a fresh crew, ready to captivate audiences once again. The company aspires to function as a collective, harnessing the unique talents of its members while drawing inspiration from a variety of dance styles, including bellydance, flamenco, Latin styles, contemporary, and tribal fusion among others. This rich tapestry of influences allows Sundari Dance to create stunning, artistic choreographies that are both rooted in tradition and imbued with innovative flair, ensuring that each performance is a delightful experience for all.

About Adriana Sundari
Adriana Sundari has been in love with dance since childhood, but at the age of 15, she discovered the enchanting and empowering world of bellydance. As a lead dancer for the renowned Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra in Toronto, Canada, she flourished under the guidance of the brilliant director Yasmina Ramzy. Her performances have spanned a variety of settings, from vibrant Arabic nightclubs and elegant weddings to prestigious cultural events and large-scale productions. Adriana has showcased her talent at notable venues such as the Fringe Festival of Independent Dance, Series 8:08, and the Premier Dance Festival, as well as at celebrated events like the Pride Parade and Caravan. Her passion for dance has even led her on tours across Canada and the US with Arabesque Dance Company and Orchestra, from British Columbia to Montreal, NYC, and California, further solidifying her expertise as a seasoned performer in the Canadian and US dance arts scene. Adriana has also studied many other dance forms, such as ballet, contemporary, Flamenco, Latin dance styles, Brazilian, hip hop, and classical Indian dance.
